Taking a day to be proud of all I have accomplished in blogging this year~

I’ve been told that I never give myself the proper time to shine. I work myself to death to compete with toughest critic I know, myself. I feel this constant need to top myself so I don’t look back on my old posts very often. However, this year, I have been trying to take the time to recognize my hard work where recognition is due.

So without further ado, here are my favorite posts from the nearly 200 posts I’ve written this year!

New Year, New You: Vision Board Tour
I put this post first because it was my first post ever to hit over 30 likes. I made this post because making a vision board was something that I was thinking of doing anyway, but I figured sharing it would be really fun! Little did I know that sharing my vision board would not only motivate me to do more this year, but it also opened the floor for a lot of great feedback and conversation!

A Chat About An Existential Crisis
This post means a lot to me because it was something that I felt really vulnerable about and was nervous to share with everyone. I have a tendency to internalize a lot of my feelings so, sharing them with such a wide audience was incredibly nerve wracking. However, my concerns were met with such positive comments and kind words that it made me happy that I expressed my personal vulnerability.

23 Things I’ve Learned In 23 Years
This is one of my favorite posts to do each year. I love talking about all the things I’ve learned in the past year. The reason I love it is because I have a lot of younger girls following me who may not have had the experiences I have had, and a lot of older women also follow me and are ready and willing to extend their wisdom to me. It is great to be able to learn from one another.

Note to Self
This post was something that was very different for me. It explored my mind in real time through short entries I have written into my notes app on my phone. It really took a deep dive into what I have been feeling and I have made more than one post like this and hope to make more. I really feel like it explores the deepest parts of me in a new way.

Fashion Friday: A Guide to Personal Style
This post continues to confuse me, but impress me. When I wrote it, I expected very little from it. However, this has grown to be my most liked and viewed post. I really enjoyed putting it together and talking about my feelings towards fashion and personal style. But I never expected it to resonate with people in such a way that it did.

My Health and Fitness Journey
Yet another post that took me by surprise. This is another of my most liked and viewed posts of the year. It took a lot for me to talk about my health and fitness journey because I tend to be very closed when it comes to the topic of weight loss and exercise. Everyone has a strong opinion on the “right” and “wrong” way to do things, so getting such positive feedback was comforting.

My Current Favorite Crystals
I love talking about my crystal babies and I love educating people on them as well. They are such interesting things and I love learning more about their physical and spiritual properties. I really enjoy going back to those old posts and giving myself a refresher on everything I’ve learned.

How to Get Inspired to Create Better, Bolder Blog Content
If you’re new to my blog or I haven’t made myself clear, blogging is something I am incredibly passionate about and I would love to teach other people more about it if they are considering trying themselves. Writing this post was not only rewarding for me, but also made me realize how much I’ve learned in my time blogging.

Fall Self-Care Ideas
Fall is my favorite season and self-care is something I preach everyday. I think the combination of the 2 is great and I really loved that a lot of people cared to read and like because it showed me that this kind of content is something that connects with other people as much as it connects with me!

~~~
Overall, I am proud of each and every one of my blog posts because they are each individuals that I put my heart and soul into. I can’t wait to move on to a new year of blogging that is sure to be filled with new favorites!
