Fashion Friday: Lavender Field OOTD

Flower Power~

About a week ago, I went to a beautiful lavender field to take some pictures and enjoy nature. I thought it would be a nice idea to share my OOTD from that day because I really enjoyed my look a lot and found it to be a fresh and fun summer flower goddess look.

The purpose of this OOTD is to highlight this dress. I bought it at Forever 21 recently and was super impressed with the quality. It is light and super airy while not being sheer or flimsy. I bought it with the intention of wearing it to a graduation party but found that it would be great to wear to the lavender field because I feel like the white really complimented the soft purple in the flowers.

My only complaint about the dress is that it is a tad long and even in high wedges, I still found that I needed to hold it up while I walked. aside from that, I must say that I think the dress was functional and fashionable and can be dressed up or down.

To dress this look down, I would probably put a belt around the waist and pair it with a nice denim jacket (which I wore to the field initially because it wasn’t hot yet). It would also be easy to dress up with the right jewelry and perhaps a nice shawl or kimono. I chose to keep the accessorizing to a minimum, though because I really didn’t want to take away from the natural landscape.

That is all for this Fashion Friday, see you back here Sunday!
