“Find yourself a girl who can do both”
Valentine’s Day is right around the corner which means that pink is the color of the month and love is the trend (as it should be every day)! Whenever Valentine’s Day rolls around, I get a little more inspired to invite the cute pastels back into my wardrobe. So I decided to take my current pastel feels and throw them into a tiny look book just for this little Hallmark holiday lovey dovey occasion!
Date Night-
Overall Dress // Primark
Sweater // Marshall’s
Boots // Charlotte Russe
Jacket // Old Navy
Bag // Zulily
I really love this outfit because it is a perfect look for date night! The pastel pink overall dress is not only a really unique piece but it is also a really cute way to tie in a Valentine’s Day color without going overboard. I put a really fuzzy, white, half sleeve sweater underneath to compliment the pale pink and to give the look some added texture. I really find that the textures of the dress, sweater, and jacket all complimented each other nicely.
I actually have a pair of thigh high boots that match this dress perfectly but I found that the black boots actually broke up the look better and brought in the black of the bag! I am also in love with how this gray Sherpa jacket from Old Navy brought the look together with the white on the inside and the soft light gray on the outside.
Since the boots kept me pretty warm, I didn’t really find a need for tights in this look but I think if you wanted to swap for tights and ankle boots in this look it’d also be really cute!
Night in-
Sweater // TJMaxx
Leggings // Khols (Vera Wang leggings are the best)
Socks & Mask // Target
Phone Case // Five Below
Just because you don’t have a date for Valentine’s Day doesn’t mean you can’t dress cute! I decided to put together a comfy night-in look that I think would be perfect for a Valentine’s girl’s night!
I want to start off by saying that I love these socks too much because crystals and gems make me happy and I just love how the colors look together (not to mention the color palette matches my sweater!) I actually got these socks for a dollar at the value spot in Target completely haphazardly and I am so glad I did because they are super comfy and really cute!
I also adore this sweater. I love the mock neck style and that it is a bit over-sized. I also find the colors to be great for transitioning from winter into spring! I got this sweater for Christmas and I would honestly wear it every day if I could because it is that comfy and cozy.
And my lovely face mask is also from Target and it is the witch hazel and tea tree one from the brand Que Bella. It is honestly one of my favorite masks because it really clears out the pores.

I hope everyone has a happy Valentine’s Day! See you again on Sunday for another blog post!

I kinda sorta forgot about Valentine’s this year. Not really in the festive mood I guess. In a way it’s good that I don’t pay much attention to it. I hear this can be a really depressing day for a lot of people.

I actually have a post going up in a couple days about mental health and Valentine’s day! Its a tough day for some people but I feel like its all about the mindset. My mindset about Valentine’s day (whether I’m single or not) is that its just a holiday for card and candy companies to make money lol
