It’s time to welcome in a new season of life
So Labor Day has officially passed which marks the end of another summer (not literally, because we still have the rest of the month to call it summer but, let’s face it, summer is over). I find that September is a really unique point in the year where we all sort of transition into a period of newness. School starts back up again, people return after a summer of trips and adventures, and we all seem to fall back into a routine. I personally find September to be one of the months where I am most motivated to get my shit together (aside from January).
Plus, I am an advocate for self-care September and plan to use this month to really get back into taking care of myself. I let my blogging and yoga slip through the cracks in August and I am ready to get myself back on track. I genuinely miss feeling creative and blogging, so a little self-care will hopefully go a long way.
I also want to spend September planning trips and possibly taking opportunities to travel, even if it is only a daycation. I have let my day to day life become overrun by work, and I really need to take a step back and enjoy life while I am still young. I have my whole life to work, I deserve to have a little fun every now and then.
Aside from all of my personal plans for September, I am also excited to start embracing the beginning of fall. I don’t believe in just celebrating Halloween in October so I am ready to start now. I am hoping to be able to find time to decorate within the next couple of weeks so I can really soak up all of the spooky fall vibes.
I am hoping to experience a lot of growth this September and, most of all, take some pressure off myself. My anxiety has been through the roof and I am truly ready for some self-love and a little relaxation whenever possible!
How will you be spending you September?
Jess~
