5 Great Holiday Movies For Your Movie Night! – Blogmas Day 6

December 6th 2018

Grab a blanket and cozy up~

Last year, I made a post called 5 Movies That Will Get You in The Holiday Mood- Blogmas Day 14 and wrote about some of my favorite holiday films! At the end of the list, I had a lot of honorable mentions and would love to circle back and highlight some today!

  1. A Charlie Brown Christmas – This is a real Christmas classic. The cute and iconic art style of Charlie Brown, mixed with the unique personalities of all the characters in the Peanuts gang makes it a film that holds up well and that the whole family will love. I personally try to watch it at least once a year.

  2. Olive the Other Reindeer- One of Santa’s Reindeer are injured and he hopes that he can get up for his annual flight. The radio declares that Santa needs “all of the other reindeer” to pull their weight if he has any hopes of not canceling Christmas. However, this young dog named Olive, thinks he needs “Olive the Other Reindeer” and Olive sets out on a quest to reach the North Pole and save Christmas! Such a cute film that I didn’t know about until a while after it had been out, but I think it is really cute and sweet!

  3. Frosty the Snowman- If you don’t know the story of Frosty the Snowman, look up the song and you will find out the whole plot of the film. It is just a cute tale of a snowman who came to life one day! A real classic!

  4. Mickey’s Once Upon A Christmas- I love this movie and the sequel because it is literally just a bunch of classic Christmas stories and original Christmas stories told with Disney characters that teach the important lessons of the holidays. Not going to lie I get a little teary during some, haha.

  5. The Santa Clause- This is a personal favorite of mine because I honestly just think it really embodies the story of someone rediscovering their holiday spirit. I don’t want to give too much away, but it is about a scrooge of a father, learning about the meaning of family and Christmas in a way he never expected.

What are your favorite festive flicks!?
