A Month To Rest

We all need a break sometimes~
Happy November! I am back on my new posting schedule and looking forward to getting the month of November started. If you didn’t read my previous post, this month is sort of like a 50% hiatus for me. I usually post 4 days a week, but this month I am only posting 2 (or 3) days a week for the sake of my sanity and prepping for Blogmas!

So what am I going to do on this month to rest? Honestly, I have been spending a lot of time thinking about this break and how it may benefit me. I have a lot of friends who tell me I work myself really hard and although I agree, I really enjoy pushing myself to create new content. But at this point in the year, I sort of see what they mean about me needing to give it a bit of a rest.

I have posted a blog post at least 4 times a week for the entire year and I think November is a perfect time to slow down. It is a month for relaxing, spending time with family, and for gratitude (if you live in the US, it is Thanksgiving time). So I feel like November is the best time to lay off myself a little bit.

I think I will spend this month enjoying some time to free write, collect my intentions, and focus on me. In the past couple of months, I have gone through some incredibly personal things that I have chosen to keep private. I think taking this month away from 24/7 blogging will really be good for me to collect my thoughts and move on.

Looking forward to my next post and to being able to come onto my little corner of the internet and write what’s going on in my head this month.
