What did the one eyed Jack O’Lantern wear? A Pumpkin Patch!
When I think of fall and the Halloween season, one of the things that always comes to mind is Jack O’Lanterns. The idea of adding extra personality to an already-cute little gourd is something I find to be so fun. However, The Rise of the Jack O’Lanterns takes pumpkin carving to a whole new level! Thousands of pumpkins carved by different artists line the local garden for spectators to come and enjoy.
The themes each year vary, but the pumpkins always impress! This year, my favorite theme was definitely the astrology and tarot section. I was so excited that I ran away from my family to go take pictures of my sign and my favorite tarot cards!
They also had pumpkins based on popular children’s books, sport players, Marvel characters, classic horror movies, and more! My favorite part was the arch of trees that was lit with red light and pumpkins lining the way!
Overall, I had a great time exploring my first Rise of the Jack O’Lanterns and hope to do something like it again in the future!
What is a Halloween or fall tradition where you live?

Wow these are really impressive! People who carved all these are so talented, it looks really beautiful with the lights 🙂
In France we don’t really celebrate Halloween, so it’s not a tradition to carve pumpkins
