Blogtober Day 8: A Perfect Fall Day

October 8th 2018

I’m on a quest to find the perfect way to spend a fall day~

Fall time is such a great time to get festive. I feel like every season has their own perfect day attached and I am on my quest to find what activities would make up a perfect fall day. So without further ado, here is how I would spend my perfect fall day!

  1. 20180921_085035
Start the day with yoga and apple cider-
I love yoga at all times a year, but something about going to yoga on a crisp fall morning is really magical. My yoga studio is also right next to a Dunkin Donuts which has amazing iced apple cider, so it is a win win in the morning! But if I wanted to make the day even more special, I would drag myself out to the cider mill.

  2. Light a fall candle and watch a Halloween movie or show while getting ready-
My fall go-to show is Sabrina the Teenage Witch. I always try to binge a bit of it every fall. Salem is my spirit animal and I never tire of the show no matter how many times I watch. I also really feel like fall shows and scents help motivate me to pick a really cute outfit.

  3. Spend some time outside-
Whether it is outside in my backyard or a walk on a trail, spending time in nature is so refreshing on a fall day. I particularly love taking a stroll through the narrow dirt paths of the preserve near my house. It is a prime place to view the colors of fall on the trees. On a super perfect day, I would go apple or pumpkin picking.

  4. See a scary movie with a friend- Into the evening, a scary movie night is what I crave. I love the adrenaline rush horror movies give. Horror is one of my favorite genres and scary movies are always best in the fall.

  5. Visit The Witches Brew-
The Witches Brew is a local coffee shop that is in this big dark house. It has mismatched furniture, dark drapes, string lights, and really delicious vegan treats. It is super great to go in the fall because they really dress it up (with a name like Witches Brew, you know you’re in for a good time)

  6. Read a spooky or suspenseful story before bed- I love reading mysteries or suspense novels in the fall. I plan to make a list of a few of my favorites soon, but I think Nancy Drew is always going to be on the top of my go-to list!

How would you spend your perfect fall day?
