Starting over at page 1 never felt so good…

After and long and grueling year, I am happy to say that we survived 2017! I am so happy with how this year has helped me grow and change and I am not going to let growth and change become strangers in 2018! In a couple days, I am going to share my final year in review in terms of what I learned, but right now, I want to share a little bit of what I hope to get out of next year while looking back at what I got out of this year!

I hope to travel a ton now that yoga teacher training is ending. I have a few destinations on my list including Vermont, Baltimore, Boston/Salem, Nashville, Philly, Toronto and more! There is no saying if I will make it to all of those, but I am going to try my best! 2017 was a great year for travel. I got to go to Buffalo, Albany, Hunter Mountain, Philly, Washington D.C., Virginia Beach, North Carolina, and spent a lot of time in New Jersey with my boyfriend. I really love the idea of making memories all over.

I went to tons of concerts in 2017 and I am hoping to go to even more in 2018. I have a few artists who are due to release new music at the start of next year and I am excited to live a year full of new anthems and fun concert experiences. I can’t wait to discover new music that speaks to my soul and keeps me in good company on long road trips. I hope to see Betty Who, Poppy, Jon Bellion, Zella Day, Ryn Weaver, Paramore, and tons more in the year ahead (if they are out on tour) and I also have plans to see Taylor Swift for the first time which is bound to be rad!

This section is scary, but it is time to be an adult and find an adult job (if my current job doesn’t bring me on full time). Finding a job is terrifying to me, but I am looking forward to seeing what the new experience has to offer in my life. I am also looking forward to a bit more cash flow to fund my awesome travel and concert experiences.

I am so excited to go into the new year with my yoga teaching certification and I am excited for that new experience in my life. To have a part time job that is so rewarding and fulfilling is bound to be great. I am open to whatever it will teach me and although I don’t plan to start teaching right away, I hope to incorporate some of what I learn into my blogging at the start of next year.

I don’t have much to say about this because I want to leave the pages of that story blank until it happens. I just know that I want to be happy and continue to feel excited about where life can take me. I am at a bit of a crossroad now and I am excited to see where I go next!

Overall, 2017 was a year of ups and downs, but I am excited to see where I go from here~
