“Travel far enough, you meet yourself” -Cloud Atlas
As the weather will soon start warming up, my desire to travel is getting stronger and stronger. I have places on my list that I want to explore, things I want to try out, and sights I want to see. So what is to come for my Wish You Were Here series in 2018?
For starters, hopefully a myriad of new and exciting places as well as some fun adventures in familiar places. I want to expand this series from just travel diaries to a series about travel as a whole. I not only want to show you where I am going, but the process of getting there. I want to share my resources and techniques for planning a trip. I want to show you what I take in my carry on when I fly or what my favorite road trip playlists are. I want this series to become a space that you come to explore with me and find inspiration for your own journeys.
Although I am trying not to give away the places I plan to go this year before they are finalized and booked, I can assure you that I have tons of plans in the works. I have my sights set on a farm house with goats, a trip to the harbor, maybe kicking up my cowboy boots, exploring some caves, and getting spooky this fall, but I don’t want to share too much before I get there.
Just know, that I am working and planning this series out as much as possible so I can offer content that is not only fun and wanderlust filled, but also informative and interesting!
I also want to play around with different types of media so expect more photography and perhaps some videos! I plan for this year to be a year where I think out of the box and take this series to new heights!
This year, I plan to focus my travels on the US and possibly Canada so if you have any suggestions as to where I should check out and post about, let me know!
I’m looking forward to what is to come from this series in the next year and to create new travel memories to share and look back on.
Jess~
