Oh the places you’ll go~
With only 5 full days left until the new year, I wanted to take some time to look back at my year in travel. Although I didn’t make it to as many places as I would have liked, this year was a fun year none the less and I want to pay tribute to all the fun travel memories I got to enjoy.
My first trip of the year was to Vermont in the spring time. This trip was something my friend Michaella and I had been talking about since we were freshmen in college and we finally decided to do it! Our main goal of the trip was to visit the Ben & Jerry factory and take a tour. However, we also got to stay in a cute little airbnb that had goats and we got to explore the local shops and hiking!

My second trip of the year was to Florida with my family. It was a really great trip because we got to spend time at my grandpa’s condo where I did a lot of my growing up. Going there always makes me feel super nostalgic because that is where I went almost every summer of my life.
On that same trip, we also took my grandpa to Disney World for his birthday! It was his first time going in 10+ years and he had so much fun… maybe even more than me! I love Disney World because it is another place that feels super nostalgic to me and I just love being a kid every time I go!

My third trip of 2018 was very similar to my second because I went right back to Florida after a month away, haha! I took the trip with my friend Angie and this time we got to spend time at Universal having some Halloween fun! Her friend (who I am now happy to consider my friend as well), Val, really hooked us up with a great trip because she works at Universal and knew about all the best stuff.
It was such an amazing girls trip and I can honestly say I had such a good time relaxing, soaking up sun, swimming, and riding rides. Not to mention we got to got to go to Halloween Horror Nights and Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween party! Super fun!

And aside from these 3 big trips, I also made a lot of small trips that you can check out in my Wish You Were Here Series! Not to mention, I had a lot of fun close to home with my Exploring Home Series!
